cowparsley cyanotype, fabriano paper

At last, the last three years have been exhibitions, workshops, projects, college - this is on top of a full time job and children and running a house. My own fault as I can't say no. A lot started off as not too much involvement but ended up with me doing way more than I thought. This image was from the very last exhibition that just finished a couple of weeks ago - it was called "Flora Orcadensis" and was based on a book of wildflowers by Magnus Spence from 1914. It took over a year as there are so many plants to catalogue and photograph, I was also doing a lot of cyanotypes so was collecting and pressing for the contact prints.
It was a joint exhibition with my friend, the photographer Rebecca Marr. Rebecca also works with film, and other analog techniques. She had some incredible large photograms.

So i now have some free time, I'm really hoping to get lots more photography done, especially the time consuming darkroom kind. I have a gorgeous workshed in the garden now, I've been waiting 10 years for that so I am very chuffed.
I'm hoping I can get back into 365, this is the community that taught me you can make friends online !
Have a great weekend everyone :)
welcome back Ingrid, your photos are always interesting and it seems easier to communicate here than on flickr for example

@kali66 - it's a great starter into alt photography, two relatively cheap chemicals and water is the developer http://www.alternativephotography.com/wp/processes/cyanotype/beat-the-blues-making-cyanotypes
