This is Jack Lowe, I'm sure many of you have heard of him. He is travelling around Britain in his converted ambulance making wet plate photographs of every lifeboat station - what an amazing guy. When I first heard about him I contacted a friend of mine who is a volunteer with the RNLI in Kirkwall. I spent a lovely couple of hours watching him make plates in an ambulance. Such an absolute pleasure to meet him.
