This is 'Another Place' at the beach at Crosby where there are 100 iron men sculptures. I went today as I was curious to see if there was any sign of storm Imogen, I think she was waiting for me to walk a mile along the beach before unleashing her worst. Good test of the waterproof coat - and the verdict is it's not waterproof!

@onewing hi Babs the statues have been there for about 10 years, they stretch right along the beach for a mile or more. Some of them further up the beach are half buried in the sand now. They look different every time you go because of the weather and the tide but I agree they do look quite creepy with the dark sky. Hopefully next time I go it'll be a bright, sunny day (I'm living in hope!)
The sky certainly looks threatening. My sister lives in Lancashire and she said that another storm was heading her way when I phoned her on Sunday.
