This is South Stack lighthouse on the Isle of Anglesey, where we've been for the weekend.
We went for a lovely walk from South Stack (including 400 steps down and back to the lighthouse!) to North Stack via Holyhead Mountain. Thankfully it's not a mountain, just a small hill so didn't take long to get to the top. The weather was beautiful for most of the afternoon, the cloud we saw here just made the view more dramatic.
Just after we'd left this point we met a couple, actually we heard them before we saw them, the man was whistling very loudly 'It's a long way to Tipperary'. It wasn't quite what we expected to hear on a coastal walk in Wales but it was cheerful to hear.
Lovely shot love the silhouette of the lighthouse and the suns rays. This shot has brought back memories. We lived at RAF Valley in the 1970s when my husband was in the RAF and I remember walking down to the lighthouse when I was 7 months pregnant.
