Not a Peaky Blinder in sight

This street looked so strange that I had to take a photograph. Camera wasn't working properly so I took it on my phone.

I wondered if it could have been used as a film set and sure enough I discovered that BBC TV have been filming the series Peaky Blinders here which is set in Victorian Birmingham.

Houses in this area of Liverpool have been subject to plenty of debate for many years while the council decide whether to renovate or demolish. In the next street to this is the house where The Beatles drummer Ringo was born so a lot of people (me included) think they should be renovated.

I don't think the street will look like this for much longer, whatever happens.

I thought about doing this in b&w but I quite liked the little yellow stickers on the windows.
Sooooo quite, almost eerie.

Fabulous shot! I love the leading lines. I watch Peaky Blinders, so cool this is where they film it.

I don't know the series so can't relate except to say its a bleak scene - the houses are so dark! I expect that yellow sticker means something!

Great shot. I think they should be renovated too. I saw somebody else's photo on 365 of renovated terrace houses in Cambridge and they cost a fortune now.

Would be a shame if the buildings disappeared, especially considering the Ringo connection. Fine shot.
