Lovely shot. Friends of ours are in the Isle of Man at the moment too. They are from there originally and lived at Ballaugh. I suspect that John has gone over for the TT races which he missed when he moved to Australia.
@onewing that's amazing! My mum and dad live at the bottom of the first downhill of the tt course so I've seen a lot of motorbikes over the years! Ballaugh is great place to watch, they go over a bridge at high speed and are usually airborne. It's an amazing event, there are thousands of spectators here already and racing doesn't start for another week. Practises start tonight so we'll get to see some of it. There's an Australian guy who competes every year, he's one of the top riders, so no doubt your friends will be following his progress.
@inthecloud5 I've seen lots of John's photos taken from the bridge at Ballaugh, he shows them at our photo club. No doubt when he returns at the end of June we will be seeing more photos too.
