The Holly Blue butterfly is attracted to holly in the spring and ivy in late summer, I guess this means it's late summer! There were quite a few fluttering about in the garden this afternoon, I was hoping to get a shot of this one with both wings spread out but as soon as I moved it was gone.
Well done for capturing it! There has been a dearth of butterflies this year so you are most fortunate. My criticism, however is that it has been over sharpened and that has spoilt the image. See if you can reduce the sharpening and it will be a better image for it. Hope you don't mind the critique?
