A day in Dublin

This is Christ Church Cathedral, which has been rebuilt, added to and restored many times since it was first established in the 11th century. This corner looked like it was where it all joined together.

We've both been to Dublin many times before, mostly for work so it was good to have a day sightseeing,

We did a walk which took us to the city's two cathedrals, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, the GPO building and finishing at the pub for a Guinness.

Sailed away tonight heading south for Southampton.
Wonderful building, fabulous B&W.

There are different types of stone here - maybe a later addition! Good depth in the scene!
