Ebb and flow

Another from the weekend, this was on Lindisfarne, an island accessible by a causeway at low tide, such a peaceful, tranquil place.

So much to see here with its medieval religious heritage and 16th century castle, but we had to keep an eye on the time and the tide.

I think if I lived here I'd be keeping a boat nearby just in case!
