Down the line

We had a great day out on the steam train today, my mum booked for us to have lunch on board, it was lovely. This was the stop at Castletown where we had a few minutes to get off and take photos.

It's single track most of the way with passing places at stations, so here the engine was being moved from one end of the train to the other for the return trip.

Super shot. We had a ride on a steam train last weekend at Maitland Steamfest. It is great fun.
John and Elizabeth were with us. they are the couple who used to live on the Isle of Man. I must send them this photo to see if they recognise it.
