We had a very scenic drive on the last leg of the journey to the north of Scotland. This is a sea loch which looked beautiful in the changing light. On the island you might see four sports cars and their drivers parked by the building. We met these cars several times, they're on the 500 mile trip around the coast of northern Scotland, one of the most scenic drives in the UK.
Up until the late 1800s there was a ferry from this island to the other side of the loch but then a road was built. It seems like a long way round but it's really stunning scenery all the way.

Awe, beautiful. Reminds me of the trip I took to Scotland over a decade ago. We'd hiked to the top of a ridge over looking a small town we were staying in, and the view was quite similar.
