Standing near to the tarn in the other photo I posted, this was looking towards the snow-capped Blencathra, one of my favourite mountains in the Lake District. The cloud had just cleared so we could see the top.
The weather was quite mild so the snow was melting rapidly, it was almost gone at lower levels by late afternoon. Still plenty on the higher peaks though.
