No need to comment, just catching up after a week without proper internet at my mum's.
My dad would have been 84 today so I stood in his favourite spot and took photos of the motorbikes as they whizzed past on the first lap of this year's TT races, just as he did for so many years.
This is Ian Hutchinson, he's still recovering from an accident he had last year so not up to the speeds of some of the other competitors. Even so, he's travelling at about 180 mph here!
What a great shot. I hope you don't mind I copied this photo to our friend John who used to live in the Isle of Man and is a great follower of the TT races. Sadly he is the friend who now has a brain tumour and is in palliative care here in Port Stephens. I don't think he has much longer to live and he was thrilled to see your photo.
