Taken on the bank of the River Mersey looking towards the old Runcorn bridge.
We went to have a look around the nature reserve near the new bridge over the Mersey, amazingly there's very little sign of disruption caused during the construction of the bridge. Plenty of birds and wildlife in the woods nearby so that was good to see.
We stopped here on the way home to take some photos of the old and new bridges, the dark sky was rather dramatic with the sun just breaking through.
