We encountered this interesting scenario on our way across the Isle of Mull to catch the ferry to Iona this morning.
We weren't in a hurry but I was glad to see the bus give the cow a gentle nudge to encourage it to move out of the way and we all went happily on our way.
The internet is slow and temperamental here, will catch up when I get home later this week.
Haha, the trials and tribulations of driving on the islands.
?? The internet is slow and temperamental here ?? Over most of Mull I barely had a phone signal let alone internet.
@shannejw yes, we were staying in Tobermory so allowed ourselves plenty of time to get to Fionnphort on the single track roads. it was a spectacular drive, the weather was perfect for showing off the landscape and then the added bonus of the highland cows, we had a few incidents with them but this was the most entertaining :)
@taffy I'm really impressed with it, can't fault the results. The only problem I've had is with dust on the sensor so I went on a workshop to learn how to clean it but still I try to avoid changing the lens when I'm out and about.
We took part of the May half term so stayed overnight in Edinburgh, then took the train to Oban, stayed there overnight, took the ferry to Kerrera where we stayed a night, walked back into Oban and the ferry over to Mull, stayed in Tobermory in the SYHA for a couple of nights during which time we took the boat trip to the Treshnish Isles , then travelled by both buses to Fionnphort and spent a night on Iona before travelling back south - photos start here https://365project.org/shannejw/365-2018/2014-05-25
@inthecloud5 Good to know. So far I've only changed lenses inside and then gone with the 'lens of the day' rather than switching out. I wondered about being able to clean a mirrorless one.
