Wild and free

Saw this little bunny sitting amongst the wild flowers by the sea, I tried not to disturb it but as soon as it spotted me it was off like a shot!

This was on a walk around the north coast of Yell, one of the Shetland islands. The weather was rather wild, the waves were crashing against the rocks in the strong wind but still plenty of birds and seals to see but no other people all afternoon.

Hi Christine,
I don't suppose you and hubby were in the cafe/ shop/ garage near bottom of Unst ? About a mile from ferry. Round about 12.30 on Saturday 8th ? In the front window. Nearly went back in and said " Hello are you Christine ? ".
I was heading north towards Herma Ness.

@markp haha no it wasn't us :) we were exploring some of Unst's beaches on Saturday, taking photos of terns and skuas. We're on Yell now, heading back to Lerwick on Saturday. Are you still on Shetland?

No I left last Monday evening. As of now, Friday morning I am on ferry from Westray back into Kirkwall.
