Went to the Sky Garden today, 30+ floors high in the glass tower building at 20 Fenchurch Street. A beautiful environment with the plants mostly under glass and an outside walkway for some fresh air. While we were there we spotted another roof garden with just a few people wandering around so decided to go back down to see if we could find it.
Not far to go and very easy to access, in no time we were up there with just a few office workers having their lunch. This garden is almost all outside and planted with a variety of flowers that were attracting bees and insects, including this ladybird.
Looking out over the city of London there were hardly any green spaces, so using the rooftops for this purpose seemed like a good idea to me.
