The camera never lies

Don't tell anyone but I went out for two walks today, I couldn't resist a trip to the river for the sunset tonight, even though I'd already been out with the dog earlier in the afternoon. I hope the exercise police don't find out.

I decided to take the proper camera and have some time out from the news. When I got there I discovered there was no battery in the camera, sooooo annoyed with myself but I made do with the phone camera instead.

Despite there being only one person in this image there were so many walking, running and cycling. Everyone seems to have gone crazy about exercising since the new rules were introduced and keeping your distance seems to be a difficult concept for some.

So good to be back here, thanks everyone for your lovely comments on my last photo :)
Absolutely beautiful! TT coming up! fav

Your timing for the times of physical distancing and a solitary walker is perfect

I find myself curious re the haloing around the branches and what caused it. Do you know?

A definite sign of our times - wonderful silhouettes against that sunset

Stunning. We are still able to go out for walks but must abide by the social distancing rules. Luckily our beaches in this area are never crowded so keeping away from others is quite easy. fav.

@jgpittenger probably just me fiddling with the settings on the phone to try and get it to take something like the scene I was looking at :)

@onewing so glad you're ok and able to get out too, it definitely helps. One advantage of this situation is having more time to catch up with everyone on 365!

@ludwigsdiana so sorry to hear that, hope it's not for too long. If the measure work you might be out and about again soon.

Stunning capture! I walked on the beach this morning. It’s important to get outside and do it safely.
