Recently saw some of these Japanese anemones and thought what a useful addition they would be in the garden, providing some late summer colour and, of course, photo opportunities.
Just haven't had any time to go and buy the plants so I looked out for them on my walk today and found these growing beautifully in the grounds of the church. Phone camera did a pretty good job of capturing them too.
I thought so two a year back and bought 3 - two white and one pink. One died and then there were two. Now after a year, more plants are appearing. Lovely fragile look in this shot!
