This autumnal scene reminded me of a painting that was on the wall in my grandmother's home, I hadn't thought about it in years but it took me right back there. Happy memories.
Lovely scene. Brought back memories for me too. There was a painting similar to this scene in the care home where Nanna lived for her last couple of years while in the throes of dementia. Nanna always talked about the painting when we visited and then one day as she was explaining her story, she added that she had painted it. Of course, she hadn't and we had to stifle giggles but she left us with fun memories when she died a few months later.
