This was supposed to be a romantic photo with me mentioning how much I love the novel, The Notebook. I searched the pages for just the right words. I wanted to make sure the name Noah was visible along with subtle hints of the love he has for Allie. Subtle. I think I did a great job. However I also learned an important lesson - Once you have found the perfect words on the left page, don't forget to glance over at the right page....just for kicks, if nothing else. Follow this advice and you will not be stuck with a semi pornographic photo while sighing and knowing that just one more attempt at balancing your wedding ring on a book, for just the right photo, while repeatedly yelling, "DON'T TOUCH THE TABLE!" as your children do flips through the kitchen, WILL send you to the looney bin.
And so this picture will, too, be filed into my "As Good As It Gets" collection.
