I pass by this room several times a day. The door is usually closed so I go on about my business and the days go on. It is located right next to the main floor bathroom and across the hall from the laundry room, all of which are connected to the family room. It is an area that sees a lot of action. I often catch a little person cracking the door open for a peek inside. I do my best to shoo them away but, I know, sometimes it is comforting to just step inside for a minute to have a look around. Check the window to make sure it is shut, fluff the pillows, and make sure the blankets on the bed are straight. That is what *I* do. "The Others", however, sneak in for different reasons. The older ones go in to borrow a movie or flip through books. I could say that the younger ones go in just out of curiosity but, I know, they are there for another reason. And, in three days, they will be able to peek through that door and find just what they've been looking for.
I saw this on the door topic, loved your brief story, this is lovely and to know they check for their older brother is so sweet. I could fav lots of your pics as they are taken with so much love. ;)
