On the second day of our road trip, the husband and I decided to get up early and catch the sunrise at the Blue Mesa Reservoir. As is typical, my battery died on THE camera and I forgot to bring the charger. The kids have an upcoming trip they are taking and I've been wanting to pick up another little point and shoot so they would each have one to use while gone. This made the perfect excuse to head over to the local Walmart and pick one up. The next morning, we headed out, found our spot, and waited on the sun. Obviously, I have been extremely spoiled by THE camera (aka- my other baby) because I was NOT happy with the photos the little point and shoot took. We promptly returned to Walmart and exchanged it for a different one. Needless to say, my glorious sunrise photos sucked monkey butt. So, here's a picture of a goat we saw on the way back. LOL!
