There is an old skit from Saturday Night Live about two female radio hosts and their guest, Pete Schwetty, who is there to talk about his balls. Get your mind out of the gutter - "Popcorn Balls, Cheese Balls, Rum Balls.. you name it." It is hilarious and one of my ALL TIME favorites!
I made some brownies yesterday with a delicious icing. They are always a hit but I have only served them straight from the pan onto a plate. yesterday, I made the brownies for Taylor and Ryanne to take to their school functions. When it came time to cut them up and place them ever so prettiful on the plate, it all went to h-ll in a hand basket. They are not meant to be cut up into perfectly shaped squares. The icing does not allow it. I ran to the store and bought replacement cookies and came back home and stared at 3 pans of brownie mess. Then I had a brilliant thought come to mind, "BALLS!" So, I got to work, forming a gazillion and 17 brownie balls which I saved in the freezer. Since the ground is still snow covered outside, I pulled out just enough for the little ones to make "Snowballs" today for their families. We dipped them in white almond bark and wrote their names with chocolate on top. Here is Zoë working hard on her batch.
