Lili's birthday is in a few days, a day after my mom's. So, when we are all together for Thanksgiving, we also celebrate their birthdays. At each birthday celebration, we spill the guts of an overly stuffed piñata. This year, we scored a huge deal when the Eyeore piñata that Lili chose at the store was priced at $2.99. Obviously, someone had made a mistake but the cashier said, "Well, that's what it says so that's what you are getting it for." Nice!
Then came the difficult decision of whether or not to save Eyeore. ....She pondered it, she really did. And then she ordered that Eyeore be sentenced to live his life as intended, stuffed with candy and entering galantly into battle with troops armed with a sawed off broom stick. He faught a good, honorable fight. And his head was saved for mounting...right next to Lorenzo's (day 88...not to be confused with the new puppy, Larry....I have not been tempted to have him mounted....yet).
