Today is Decades Day at school. We decided on the 50's. Well, *I* decidingly convinced them to do the 50'. Lili wanted to wear a diaper, the boys wanted to wear dreses, and Gracie was having no part of it at all. Telling the boys I would slick their hair back is what won their vote. Telling Lili I would put red lipstick on her is what got hers. And telling Gracie to go get dressed and stop laying around like a limp noodle, pouting because Mama wanted her picture, is what had us all out on the porch at 7 a.m. looking like all that and a bag of chips.
