I caught this little guy as I was waiting for the sun to come up. The most I got out of it was watching the sky turn from dark to brown. There have been days when the sun was a bright red ball bursting through the wall of smoke but today was not one of those days. So, instead, I focused on my morning company. I shot this through my bedroom window (window open, screen removed) as he perched atop the kids' playhouse and performed his morning routine. Ironically, it is very similar to mine.
