This a buoy bell I brought back from NH and that's hanging outside my bedroom window. Today we got some much needed rain. ....Not a lot but it was enough to ring my bell. ;)
I sat for some time and watched as it swayed and clanked in the wet rain. I think it misses it's home. I know I do.
@daffodill - It's a a windchime that makes the sound like the buoy bells around Maine. I live nowhere near an ocean so it is neat to have. Although, it has been a tad bit windy the last couple of days and the constant clanking has made me fearful that I will wake up and find a giant ship docked in my backyard. ;)
