I have been working on perfecting my star trail technique. .....I am obviously still working on it. LOL!! This is from my backyard, pointed at the North Star. 100 30 second exposures. Taken with my 50mm with the aperture set at f/4. There are 3 airplanes that flew through (the long straight lines) and, I think, a shooting star towards the bottom right corner. The wind was blowing a little breeze (blurry tree) and I think I bumped the tripod a little when reaching for the cord when I was done.
