So, tonight I decided to try the front of our house. It turned out "okay" and was mostly just to see how it would look. Obviously, there was a breeze.... I ended up with 121, 30 second exposures, f/3.5, ISO 100, 18mm. I really wanted to be out longer but the driveway is not comfortable. I will try again with a chair, maybe some beverages, and, if I am lucky, some company. I tried to keep busy with my other camera but I ran out of patience. Kids thought is was "Whoa!!! Coooooool!" Much different when they see something they can relate to vs. the top of some trees. ;)
Wow! I'm loving your progression with these star trails and the house gives it some sort of reality. I know nothing about using multiple shots to produce something like this, so I'll be interested to see your future work, its already great! This is another reason I'm glad I joined the project, in 5 days I'm already inspired by so many different shots....fantastic stuff! :)
