@marymcdanielsbriggs - Rocky Mountains. :) One of those two big peaks is Longs Peak. I have a few mountain shots throughout the whole project. And I have some more I'll be posting soon. My whole life, I been able to look to the west and see them. And, each time, they take my breath away. :)
Just over a year ago, my husband and I moved from our home of 33 years (with no view) to a home near the top of a mountain (only 17 miles from our previous home). We have views of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and Mount Washington is (40 miles or more as the crow flies) straight ahead of my kitchen's two glass doors. I absolutely love it here, even though the winds in the wintertime sound like a freight train is trying to come through the walls of the house. Your photos are wonderful. I'm very glad you commented on one of mine because now I'm following you.
@marymcdanielsbriggs - Love, Love, Love the east coast. I have good friends who live in NH and they have taken me all over. I have some pics from my trips out there on here, too. Maine is one of my favorite places ever. Your view sounds heavenly. My NH people were out there this summer and finally saw what I meant the first time I flew into the east coast and proclaimed how many trees you all have!! Crazy. And they saw what I meant when they showed me your "mountains" and I said, "You mean hills?" ;) Although, I have to say, your mountains trump ours with color come fall. No doubt there. :) Thanks for the follow. Hope you enjoy! :) I'm going to love seeing your photos. :)
