I'm using this as a filler from 9/18 because I don't want to forget about it (it will be moved due to Phoebe's birthday but I wanted to share it now) This was the sunrise that greeted me. I have taken many photos of this farm with my phone on my walks but I don't think I've ever used my big girl camera. Too good not to this morning. Beautiful day until a wicked storm blew in and dumped water on an already soggy us. Wasn't too bad once it was over but it seemed like it was staring all over while it was happening. Saw some more destruction in the next town over. Schools just opened today and our town's middle school is there. Train tracks completely washed off of their beds, vacant and muddy homes, National Guard trucks all over, bridges and sections of road washed completely away... *sigh*
I think this is the very most beautiful horizon and sky capture I have seen. I have been neglectful of 365, and now remember why, because on those occasions that I do visit, I end up spending way more time than I had planned due to all the wonderful photos and background stories that give them life. I love the photo of your son and daughter (the one in which she is wearing the double pirate patches as "glasses", and the comments you included with that photo. The accompanying writing made that photo.
