I received one of those dreaded phone calls yesterday. It was one that was somewhat expected but still one I could never imagine getting. I spent the evening talking with and consoling my children. On my drive home from the grocery store, I saw the sun setting and I wanted to capture the moment as a tribute. It's something I can do and it helps. Or, it helped me, anyhow. I missed the rays that were there but one can only do so much when traveling at 55 mph (I wasn't driving), and it was just with my phone, but I did catch a few jet streams that I liked.
@megmills@trishaclancy@hbdaly@tristansmum@mona65@fntngrma@livvy@jocee@eyeamlisa@lifepause - Thank you for the comments, favs, and kind thoughts. She was my great-great aunt, making her my children's great-great-great aunt. She would have been 106 years old in April. She was still full of so much spunk and wit. But, a body can only last so long. Even though that is a simple fact of life, having someone for that long, makes losing them that much more inconceivable.
