Samuel Beckett was born in 1906 and died in 1989. He is best known for his plays, but he also wrote novels and for radio and television. Probably the most famous is Waiting for Godot, a play where two tramps wait for someone called Godot, who never appears. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969
Here are 3 examples of his wit and wisdom
1,,,"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better."
2.. “Dance first. Think later. It's the natural order.”
3.."Birth was the death of him."
