Men-low Castle fell into ruin following a fire in 1910 . 2 women died in the fire the sister or the owner and a maid who jumped from the top floor. This view will change in the next few years as a new bridge across the river will be constructed, Galway City ( just around the corner at the top of this picture) has a huge traffic problem . The bridge and 4 lane road built in the late 1980's no longer has capacity to handle all the one occupant cars heading into town on a daily basis. How long before the new one is over run?.
