now i just love that john. such a great edit. i occasionally look at adding fake bokeh to something since i'm such a fan, but have never found a way to do it. might try again now if you don't mind :) i would very much like to have this as an artistic card to send to friends

As long as you're dressed for the wind and rain (as expressed by the water on the lens) and you've got a water resistant camera I think the beach is fab in winter. Less crowds and what there are, are probably smiling more. Great shot/process.
