A slanting sun

Found this spot in Dublin yesterday and took a few pictures. Ta for stopping by.
You may as well have a fav, just don't expect me to wax poetic about the fabulous play of light and shadow, and I'm certainly not going to mention the textures on the wall or the patterns of the paving. As for that shadow and the silhouette of the pedestrian, you're madder than I if you think I'll mention them even once.
Bugger.

@graemestevens Hear, hear Mr Stevens and you won't hear me making any comments about how awesome this is either!

@graemestevens 'Nuff said, especially about impeccably balanced composition. We shall never speak of this again.

Immeasurable in quality of composition, light, shadow detail and feeling. Fav just doesn't quite cover this but that's what we have.

This is a great shot John, wonderful textures, detail and composition. The silhouetted figure tops the shot. Just one thing John, it slopes to the left which is more obvious when viewed on black. Fave.

I thought of Orson Welles in post-war Vienna in Carol Reed’s production of The Third Man. You’ve brilliantly captured light and dark, shadows and silhouette. I absolutely love this.
