Kolom Workshop

In January, in the south of India, Hindus celebrate the agricultural festival of Pongol. It’s traditional for women to create kolom designs (using colored rice powder) in front of their homes each morning. My travel companions and I took a try one morning.
What a cool tradition! Looks like a super fun activity :-)

@aikiuser Thanks! It was...but there was a lot of geometry involved and that challenged me!

@elatedpixie Well, not sure they do it EVERY morning, but for sure they do it every morning during the Pongol festival.
