Several years after completing a 4-year-long research and writing project, I finally unclipped the dozens and dozens of articles that informed my work. Honestly, they were just taking up space in my office and did not “spark joy.”
Time to move on.
I’ll re-use the blank backs of the articles as printer paper and give these clips away on FreeCycle.org. They have done their duty for me and can now move on to their next assignment. (Right, Bob?)
I have file cabinets full of my grad school research and teaching materials. I still use some of it, but it's mostly just sitting there doing nothing. I have donated hundreds of books. This photo inspires!
What a terrific pile of color! I hope you keep a few of them at least; they're good for clipping bags of chips, etc.! I'm curious about the nature of YOUR research.
Bob agrees! ... and so do I. This is a bright, fun reminder that some things should just be let go! But I agree with the mommster. Those are pretty cool clips, I’d save a few if I was you 😘
