Took my mother (age 89) to go snowshoeing today. We used microspikes instead of snowshoes since it was rather icy, but what a glorious, sunny outing. The first time we’d been OUT doing something FUN for months! We’ve signed up for the next two Wednesdays, too. Appreciating this time with “the momster,” as @aikiuser would say.
Sounds like so much fun! My mom is super active at 84. I don't see her in person much but once I get vaccinated I will hug the heck out of her! Such beautiful snow in this shot.
@darylo Thanks, and yes to hugging! My mom’s had both vaccines, so I did actually venture a hug yesterday. Felt so good. I hope yours will happen soon!
Well a beautiful photo and what a great thing to do with your mum who is obviously on dine form! I still struggle to keep up with my 83 year old father in law. I assumed he would slow down and I wouldn’t have to trot to keep up but unfortunately he isn’t slowing down and I am!
