@nairda No glass floor here Adrian - this was a rustic old building. However at the other viewpoint on the West rim, there was a glass floor 'skywalk', and we did walk out on it - but we were not allowed to take photos! :-(
@juliedduncan One of the things I love about 365 project ... you learn a lot from people, and not just about photography. I have to admit to not having heard of Mondrian (sorry), but googled him and now totally understand your comment!
@northy Unfortunately not. We only had 4 days to cover Las Vegas and The Canyon ... including travel days! So we opted for a helicopter trip into the canyon, with a stop down by the river. This allowed us to visit Red rock Canyon and the Hoover Dam as well as Las Vegas on the other days. It was an action packed 4 days, but no real excercise except striding up and down The Strip to see all the sights - and there were many of every shape and size!
@northy It was a fantastic experience, yes. @thebluegnu Amazing place. Just so vast and beautiful. Since my father went there in 1967 I've wanted to go there ... I just had to be patient! :-)
