Nice diagonal composition of the two birds. I thought the big bird had lost a leg at first but it is tucked up, which adds an interesting dynamic to the shot.
@nairda Yes, I considered cropping the other bird out, but decided that he added something to the shot. As for big bird, he was very relaxed about me taking a shot of him standing on one leg!
Great capture, the sand is as white as snow. Love both birds, and the way the one behind is clear enough for us to see what he (or she) is) but sufficiently part of the bokeh not to be distracting.
