This was a trip down memory lane for my husband. Before we were married (over 25 years ago), he worked for 6 months in the Champagne district of France, and used to stay at this hotel. I visited him here once, back in the day, and neither of us have ever been back! On this weekend we stayed over, just for the sake of it, but it really was a bit of a dump! Seriously in need of renovation, but it was fun for us, regardless. I had taken the camera with me, on this particular weekend, but I guess my head was elsewhere because all I actually had with me was a bag of camera lenses ... no camera! I-phone to the rescue!
