A bit late in posting this, as I was given the flowers on Sunday - St. David's day - by a friend who came by to watch the Ireland-England rugby match at ours. There was a long story attached to the flowers, but suffice to say, they began their decorative life as a display in a hospitality suite at the Stade de France, during the France-Wales rugby match. No dishonesty involved!
@perspectivesimages Saturday's game was just plain depressing! Losing to Italy at Murrayfield ... and in the last minutes of the game. Poor Peter Horne will regret that kick for a long time! I'm dreading Scotland's next two games - not sure if I can bear to watch!
@paulaw Sadly not Paula, but I have to say my husband was happy on Sunday - he's not exactly Irish, but his heart is. He was brought up there, and only left at age 18 to go to University. He feels Irish more than Scottish, and although he won't admit it as such, he supports Ireland before Scotland in the 6 Nations Championship. At least there are no games this weekend - I can relax!
