I was outside wandering around the garden yesterday morning, when I spotted these amorous snails on the garden wall.

They do appear to be mating but, interestingly, they also appear to be two different species. Well spotted and captured.

Their shells are so pretty. The snails I've encountered here in the States had only brown shells, not these colorful mobile homes.
