Today hubbie and I played golf, so I enlisted him for a quick photo shoot before we started. We had a lovely round, although my game was rubbish! Posting early for tomorrow, as I'm off on my travels again, this time to visit my daughter in Phoenix, Arizona. I may be gone some time ... LOL! Seriously, I will be away for a fortnight, but hopefully I will get to do some viewing and commenting during that time even if I don't get any photos posted. I'm trying to travel light, so will only have my phone with me.
Great dof, and a handsome husband. Is "I may be gone some time" a reference to what Captain Oates said when he left the ill-fated Scott polar expedition and walked out into the snow and never returned?
He hit a hole in one with that ball after you took this pic, right? Gorgeous course you played. Best wishes in your travels and time with your daughter.
@lyndemc You are such a sweetie for thinking of me! I'm just back in Phoenix from a wonderful tour of Arizona with my daughter. Leaving for the UK tomorrow and back to France on Sunday night. We have done such a lot and I have lots of photos to sort through on my return. I haven't even peeked at 365, so will have a lot of catching up to do!
@desertaura We were in the Grand Canyon last week Beverley, for a 3-day hike to Havasupai, Mooney and Beaver Falls. Just Magical. Also been to Antelope Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, and the Petrified Forest. Got back to Phoenix last night, and leave tomorrow for the UK. It's an amazing State, Arizona, and of course we managed to visit Four Corners Monument and step into Colorado, Utah and New Mexico too! A lot of catching up to do on my return!!!!
@tristansmum Yes indeed Stephanie! It's an expression we often use at home when heading out the door to uncertainty, or when facing a challenge! I feel as if I have been gone a very long time, but boy have we done a lot of great stuff. A major 365 catch up coming up next week.
@jamibann Sounds like you've had a super time! That's excellent. Look forward to seeing a pic or two .... or twenty of your tours. I said TX in the above note when actually you were in AZ. Ooops.
Nice shot of your hubby I'm looking at a great dimpled little gold ball!
