I took this a few mornings ago when I climbed to the top of one of the two hills in our village. This one is called Craig Coilleach (meaning 'hill of the cocks' - referring to the capercaillie which is present in the woods). It's worth the ascent just for the view. I plan to do it more often. Posting early as I'm off back to Paris tomorrow morning - taking my dad back with me, and then after a couple of days there we'll be taking the Eurostar to the south of England together, to visit both of my brothers.
Wonderful view you have from this hilltop. Imagine it's quite a workout hiking up there. My favorite way to exercise; hiking. Wishing you a grand time with your dad and brothers.
