My Sister in Law, Tania, pulling radishes for the orders of the day. She is a lovely lass and works so hard! She and my brother are very lucky to have found each other - they're a perfect match.
@busylady Yes - they grow radish, broad beans, beetroot, chard, sweetcorn, rhubarb, lettuce, blackcurrants, apricots and squash. They sell eggs, and they also have a cherry orchard and do camping in the grounds as well. They have a nice country lifestyle, but it's hard for them to make money, as everything is so labour intensive.
@jamibann I know what you mean! I have an allotment and spend a lot of time in the kitchen making good use of all the produce. I'm having with the sweetcorn this year - just can't get it to grow at all.
