I had to go into Paris today for my annual medical, the upside of which meant I could go for a stroll afterwards around the Parc Monceau. I then bought some flowers on the Place des Ternes to take round to a friend I went to visit. Poor thing, she fell a few weeks ago and broke her ankle in 3 places. She is basically housebound as she lives on the 2nd floor of a Parisian apartment block. I think she was very happy to have company for a few hours!
Love your cop and pov, and the way the roses in the foreground pick up so well the colours in the background. Fav for me. Hope your friend's ankle mends fast. I know from experience what it's like, though mine broke in only two places.
First thought: ahhh, she's back in Paris again!
Second thought: Wow, can I relate to that caption! Had my annual this morning, and, having done "t he broken ankle" bit myself, I know it means the world to have friends come for visits, and I loved every rose and blossom they brought me! Trust me...you made her VERY happy to see you!
@Weezilou Oh, yes, Louise, you must know exactly how she was feeling! Her fall was so 'easy' to happen too. She just misplaced her foot whilst going down steps.
The red awnings compliment the colors of the foreground roses so nicely. You're a sweetheart, taking time to visit a friend, and bring her flowers as well.
Ah...even though everything you described, from medical exam to your housebound friend sounds a bit hard, all I kept thinking was 'it's Paris'! Lovely shot!
