Our first day's fishing down at Banchory was marred a little when my friend's daughter managed to get a fishing hook stuck in her face! Her boyfriend was learning to cast, and she was standing too close! However, a quick trip down to the local doctor's surgery had it all sorted in 2 minutes with no lasting damage! Rachael took it all in her stride, as you can see from the photograph.
@froggie0628 Yes, there was a lot of discussion as to whether to let the fishermen deal with it, but her mum and I voted for the local doctor! Safer, we thought!
He definitely had the catch of the day! She's a real sport, handling the snag with a smile. (Yikes tho. The idea of being caught on a fly hook sounds terrible!)
